Romney Roving

Description

Our Romney wool is grown on our farm and processed at our local mill, right here in the Pacific Northwest. The sheep are pastured throughout the year and brought into the barn as needed when the weather becomes wet. Fleeces are well-skirted prior to being sent to the mill, ensuring minimal vegetative matter (VM) in the roving.

Roving has a smooth, even consistency. Without the additional work of washing and preparation, roving is an efficient option for hand spinners, fiber makers and artists with limited time and/or preparation space.
